LIVE BAND FORCORPORATE EVENTS IN SINGAPORE

Fluent in
run sheets

A conference opener, walk-on music, a team-building session, dinner, then the after-party. We once did all of that in one day, 7am to 1am. Long day. We’d do it again.

TEAMS WE’VE PLAYED FOR

Built around your programme

Your run sheet comes first.
We fit our sets around it.

Conference openers

A short opening performance to get everyone energised for the day. It works best paired with live music over lunch or a break, so we’re there for more than a song or two.

Arrivals and networking

Easy, upbeat music while guests arrive and mingle, present but never in the way. A duo or trio suits this part of the event well.

Dinner, speeches and awards

Conversational music through dinner. During speeches and presentations we stay quiet, or play a few short bursts of music between segments if you’d like. We can also play walk-on and walk-off music as speakers, VIPs and award winners come and go.

After dinner

When the formalities are done, we turn it up. A quartet or full band brings the energy for the rest of the night.

Choosing your band size

From a duo at a client reception
to a full band in a ballroom.

Working with planners and agencies

Booking on behalf of a client? Send us the brief and the run sheet, and we’ll recommend a band size, send a quote and confirm timings and technical needs with you and the venue.

Sound that works for a band

We can bring the sound for any band size, and we recommend it for most venues. Most hotel ballroom systems are built for speeches and background music rather than a live band. Choose “Roseville provides sound” in the estimator and it’s included in your estimate. If your venue’s AV team is running sound, we’ll coordinate with them ahead of the day.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions event planners ask us

The programme

Can you fit our run sheet?

Yes. We split our playing time into sets around your programme, for example 90 minutes as 2×45 or 3×30, and adjust to your timings on the day.

Can you play walk-on music for speakers and award winners?

Yes. We can play short walk-on and walk-off music for speakers, VIPs and award winners, timed to your programme.

Do you provide an emcee?

Yes, as an add-on. Our emcee can run your programme, or we can work alongside your own.

Do you play festive songs?

Yes. We play festive songs for Christmas and Chinese New Year parties.

Do you play songs in other languages?

Yes, though please check with us first. We can do some songs in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Sound and setup

What if our venue is providing the sound system?

That’s no problem. We’ll speak to their AV team and sort out the details with them. If there’s something they can’t provide, we can bring it ourselves, though that would be an added cost.

Do you bring a full drum kit?

We can definitely bring a full drum kit. We usually bring a compact e-drum kit as it takes up less space and makes the volume easier to control. However, some events suit an acoustic kit better. We begin every booking process with a quick call or Zoom to get a feel for your event and the vibe you’re after, then recommend the band size and setup that fits. If you’d like an acoustic kit, just ask us.

How much space, power and setup time do you need?

It depends on the band size. A duo needs at least 2 × 3m, and the full band can need up to 5 × 5m. For power, we usually need one to three 13A power points. We arrive about two hours before the event starts to set up and soundcheck, and we’ll confirm the details with you and your venue team.

Booking and invoices

Can you invoice our company or agency?

Yes. We can invoice your company or agency directly.

Is there a deposit?

Yes. A 50% deposit confirms the booking, and your date is blocked out in our calendar as soon as it’s in.

Send us your brief

Tell us the date, venue and roughly how many guests, and we’ll suggest the right band size.
